The Mental Health and Opioid Awareness & Support Initiative is a community-based program dedicated to promoting mental wellness, substance misuse prevention, support, and access to helpful services for individuals and families affected by mental health challenges, addiction, trauma, and loss. 

Created in memory of Donald Sterns Jr, the initiative encourages healing, resilience, and hope through education, and compassionate support. 

Program activities include: 

• Distribution of mental health and opioid awareness materials.

• Community wellness and prevention outreach.

• Journaling and healing-focused workshops.

• Information and resouces to counseling, recovery, and support services.
